ADA Ramp and Sidewalk Improvements

The City of Yuba City is seeking bids for the installation of ADA-compliant pedestrian access ramps at various locations throughout the city. The project involves the construction of ADA-compliant curb ramps, including the removal and replacement of existing curbs and gutters, and the installation of new ramps. The contractor will be responsible for verifying all flow-line grades and constructing proposed ramps to maintain drainage at a constant slope across ramp limits. The contractor will also be responsible for protecting all existing facilities in place and repairing any damage resulting from construction. • The project is funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. • The estimated cost for this work is $896,000.00. • The contract time for completion of all the work of the project is 90 calendar days. • The contractor shall possess a Class "A" or any other license(s) required by the State of California. • The contractor shall provide pedestrian access/temporary ramp, as approved by the city or pedestrian signage as needed.
