Supply Reinforced Precast Concrete Box Culvert

The Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Maryland is seeking quotations for the supply of a reinforced precast concrete box culvert. The culvert should be 16’ span x 4’ rise x 16’ long, with both sides skewed at 10.0 degrees, manufactured in 4’ to 8’ long units. The supplier must deliver the culvert to the site at 9720 Country Store Lane, Hagerstown, Maryland, between Monday and Thursday, 8am-2pm. The manufacturer shall have the box culvert designed and load rated by a professional engineer. • The culvert must meet specific material specifications and design requirements. • The supplier must provide all applicable material specifications, cut sheets, shop drawings, etc. for review and acceptance prior to manufacturing the box culvert. • The supplier must agree to commence work within 10 calendar days of receipt of written "Notice to Proceed" by the County. • The supplier must provide certificates of insurance requiring a 30-day notice of cancellation to the Insurance Department, Board of County Commissioners of Washington County prior to the start of the project.
