NRL Space Science Division R&D Support Services

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is seeking research and development support services for its Space Science Division. The contractor will provide scientific, engineering, and technical support for the design, development, and operation of spaceflight and ground systems, including payload processing, vehicle integration, and mission operations. The scope of work includes systems engineering, hardware engineering, software engineering, and laboratory support tasks. The contractor will also provide support for mission planning, scheduling, and display software, as well as web development and maintenance. • Systems engineering tasks, including study of scientific objectives, mission requirements, and technical concepts • Hardware engineering tasks, including design, development, and testing of analog-to-digital converters and flight processors • Software engineering tasks, including design, development, and testing of flight and ground software • Laboratory support tasks, including design, development, and testing of support equipment and instrumentation • Mission operations and data analysis tasks, including mission planning, operations, and ground support.
