Description
The County is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive parking‑lot improvements at Fire Station #24, including full‑depth asphalt removal, milling, overlay, crack sealing, seal‑coating, new striping, MUTCD‑compliant signage, and site protection/cleanup. Work must be performed while the fire station remains operational, maintaining emergency vehicle access at all times. The contract is a lump‑sum, fixed‑price award based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
• Asphalt resurfacing: removal, milling, overlay, crack filling, and seal‑coating (≈ 11,400 sf removal & 5,200 sf seal‑coating).
• Striping & signage: removal of existing lines, installation of new striping and ADA‑approved signs, wheel stops, and related hardware.
• Site protection: erosion/sediment control, protection of existing utilities, walkways, landscaping, daily trash removal, and final site restoration.
• Schedule: Pre‑bid conference June 3 2026, quote deadline June 10 2026, substantial completion targeted August 1 2026.
