The NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is conducting market research to identify eligible contractors interested in repairing commercially certified overhauled parts for the P-8A Poseidon aircraft. The required part is an unmodified commercial common item, NSN 1680 016913816; P/N 822-2532-100. The awardee will be required to comply with contract clauses from the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)/Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS). Eligible contractors shall provide company information, part number, and manufacturing capability. • The P-8A Poseidon aircraft is a maritime patrol aircraft derived from the Boeing 737-800 commercial airliner. • The required part is a commercial common item, meaning it is used on both the P-8A and 737 aircraft. • The Government does not have the rights to proprietary technical data/drawings that may be required for manufacture/repair of this component. • Eligible contractors include small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, certified HUBZone small businesses, and certified 8(a) businesses.
