6140--Cart Batteries

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to provide Cart Battery Replacement services. The contractor will be required to remove the existing batteries from seven Car Club Carryall 550 utility carts and install new Lithium Battery Kits. The contractor must possess a Club Car Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certification, be registered with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR), and have an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) number. The contract is a Small Business Set-aside, open market, and the award will be made based on the evaluation of quotes received. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, qualified personnel, and transportation to complete the work. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must show clear and compelling evidence to meet all requirements of the solicitation. • The contractor must provide a report of services provided. • The contractor shall guarantee workmanship and all parts furnished by the contractor for a period of one year from the date of installation. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, executive orders, rules, and regulations applicable to its performance under this contract.
