Mulholland Drive (8908) Bulkhead

The City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering, is soliciting bids for the Mulholland Drive (8908) Bulkhead project. The project involves the removal of an existing unpermitted retaining wall and the construction of a new 160-foot long debris wall on the southwest side of Mulholland Avenue. The new debris wall will consist of cast in drilled hole (CIDH) piles and steel wide flange beams with precast concrete and timber lagging. The project also includes fencing along the top of the debris wall and removal and replacement of the concrete curb and gutter along the new debris wall. The project is funded by the Senate Bill 1 (SB-1) Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation funds. • The project site is located in a residential area. • The project requires the removal of approximately 90 linear feet of an existing unpermitted retaining wall. • The project requires the construction of a 160-foot long debris wall. • The project includes fencing along the top of the debris wall. • The project includes removal and replacement of the concrete curb and gutter along the new debris wall.
