LIFE RAFT,INFLATABL

The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting bids for the manufacture of inflatable life rafts. The life rafts must be manufactured, tested, and inspected in accordance with specific drawings and specifications. The contractor will be responsible for providing production lot samples for testing, and the cost of government testing will be added to the price of all offerors. The life rafts will be marked with Mil-Std 130N markings, including UID and human-readable markings. • The life rafts must be newly manufactured, and refurbished or remanufactured items will not be accepted. • The contractor must provide a certification that the articles will be produced using the same facilities, processes, and approved subcontractors as those previously delivered and accepted by the Government. • The contractor will be responsible for the cost of reinspection, shipping, examination, and retesting by the Government if a production lot sample fails to conform to the requirements. • The life rafts will be delivered to a domestic U.S. freight forwarder for shipment to the FMS customer country.
