Description
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works is seeking contractors to renovate the former Torrance Public Health Center, a two‑story 11,306 sq ft. Spanish‑Colonial building constructed in 1933. The renovation includes complete replacement of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑sprinkler, ceiling and lighting systems, installation of a new elevator, upgrades to security, low‑voltage, IT and telecommunications infrastructure, and construction of code‑compliant public and staff restrooms, all while complying with the Countywide Community Workforce Agreement.
