2026-01E - Intersection Improvements for Park Street at Central Street

The Town of North Reading is seeking bids for the intersection improvements for Park Street at Central Street. The project includes the installation of a new traffic signal, construction of hot mix asphalt sidewalks, ADA/AAB compliant pedestrian curb ramps, granite curbing, and other incidental work. The estimated value of the project is $402,255.00, and Massachusetts Prevailing Wages and MassDOT prequalification of Contractors with the class of work as Traffic Signals will be required. • The project is expected to start on or before May 1, 2026, and be completed by November 30, 2026. • Bid documents will be available by email from Dan O'Donnell, Town Engineer, at [email protected] on March 19, 2026, after 10:00 AM. • The bid opening date is April 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
