Description
The US Air Force is intending to sole source the procurement of ComTac VI Headsets and accessories from Atlantic Signal, LLC. The headsets provide operators with the ability to communicate via radio and Bluetooth, and have advanced features such as built-in wireless intercom, upgraded auditory settings, and an adjustable length noise canceling microphone. The procurement includes various components, including the ComTac VI Headset, ARIES Dual Comm Push to Talk Assembly, and several types of cables.
* The ComTac VI Headset is a special maritime version originally designed for navy seals.
* The headsets will be used by the 48th Rescue Squadron.
