Description
The Town of Mansfield is seeking a contractor to renovate Fire Station 307, located at 999 Storrs Road (Rt195), Storrs, Connecticut. The project involves various renovations, and the contractor will be responsible for completing the work within the projected timeframe. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids. A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled for November 5th, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
• The contractor must provide a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer's or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the bid payable to the Owner.
• The selected contractor shall furnish a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of at least 100% of the contract price, if required.
• The contractor must maintain all required insurance, including comprehensive general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation coverage.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
• The contractor must provide a certification that the submission of the offer did not involve collusion or other anti-competitive practices.
