The Los Angeles County Public Works is seeking contractors to resurface approximately 3.17 miles of major roadways in the West Puente Valley area, replace curb ramps, remove and replant trees, relocate and upgrade eight traffic signals, and perform associated civil works including concrete removal, excavation, and backfill. The scope includes a rubberized asphalt overlay, sidewalk and curb work, traffic signage updates, and extensive landscaping and vegetation restoration. • 3.17 mi of major road resurfacing with rubberized asphalt overlay • Removal and replacement of existing trees, plus new tree plantings per specifications • Relocation/upgrading of eight traffic signals, plus new pavement markings and street signage • Associated civil works: concrete removal (reinforced & non‑reinforced), excavation, backfill, and utility permits (City of South El Monte, City of Industry, SCRRA, Caltrans) • Schedule of prices includes allowances for permits, mobilization, and various construction items; the contract will be awarded to a qualified bidder meeting the technical and financial requirements.
