Au Sputtering Target for Release Layer Development

The NASA/NSSC has a requirement for a custom Au sputtering target for release layer development. The target must be 1.50” x 32.00” x 0.060” thick, with a purity of 99.99% (4N), and metallically bonded to an OFHC copper backing plate. The target and backing plate assembly must be vacuum and DC magnetron sputtering compatible. The procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 12.102(a) and the NAICS Code for this procurement is 334516. • The target must be fabricated according to the specifications above. • The target and backing plate assembly must be compatible with a custom-built dual linear magnetron assembly. • The machine and assemble must be done according to the specifications above.
