On-Call Traffic Striping Services

The City of Hayward is seeking proposals for on-call traffic striping services. The contractor will provide signage and striping services for the city's transportation infrastructure on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes installation and removal of signs, pavement markings, and curb paint, as well as traffic control and job site cleanup. The contract will be for a period of one year with two possible one-year extensions. The city reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities when such waiver is determined to be in the city's best interest. • The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work. • The contractor will be required to conduct operations to cause the least possible obstruction and inconvenience to public traffic. • The contractor will be required to provide adequate signing and barricading to protect the public and ensure safety. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and city standards. • The contractor will be required to provide a schedule of charges for labor and expenses. • The contractor will be required to provide a proposed budget based on the workplan and proposed schedule of charges.
