Description
The State of Maine is seeking quotations for a custom aluminum platform body to outfit a 2026 Ford F600 or equivalent. The body should have a length of 144", a width of 98" to 100", and a minimum 1/2" thick extruded aluminum mainframe. The platform body should also have various features such as grab handles, LED lighting, and toolboxes. The award will be made on a best value basis, considering price, delivery, and technical specifications.
• The platform body must meet the technical specifications outlined in the RFQ.
• The body must be made of extruded aluminum.
• The body must have a minimum 1/2" thick mainframe.
• The body must have grab handles on the driver and passenger sides.
• The body must have LED lighting, including stop, tail, turn, and backup lights.
• The body must have two 18" aluminum ladder steps on the driver and passenger sides.
• The body must have two 124" x 12" hinged fold-down grip strut walk-arounds.
• The body must have two 18" x 18" x 48" .100 diamond plate toolboxes.
• The body must have eight 3" x 16" x 3/8" aluminum mounting plates for stocking tank installation.
