Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a professional services contractor to provide design and construction administration services for the Baraga Correctional Facility Maintenance Equipment Storage Building project. The project involves multiple phases, including preliminary design, final design, construction administration, and field inspection services. The selected contractor will be required to provide a complete design based on the approved project/program statement and assume responsibility for all professional services offered in their proposal.
• The project requires the contractor to have demonstrated experience in the successful planning and execution of similar projects in full accordance with all applicable Local, State, and Federal regulations.
• The contractor must provide a detailed work plan and methodology, including a constructability review and quality control plan.
• The contractor must also provide compensation information for all personnel and sub-consultants, as well as estimated reimbursable expenses.
• The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the State of Michigan, with the technical proposal being weighted at 80% and the cost proposal being weighted at 20%.
