Description
The State of Maine is seeking quotations for a Cab & Chassis, 4X4, Standard Cab DRW, 14,000 GVWR. The vehicle must be new, 2025 or newer model year, with a minimum 14,000 lb. GVWR, and meet various specifications outlined in the detailed specifications. The award will be made on a best value basis, considering price, delivery, and life cycle costing.
• The vehicle must have a four-wheel drive (4x4) system and dual rear wheels (DRW).
• The vehicle must have an unleaded internal combustion engine (ICE) V8, 7.3 liter or larger.
• The vehicle must have a minimum 40-gallon fuel capacity.
• The vehicle must have a rear axle with differential locking/limited slip, with a preferred ratio of 4.30.
• The vehicle must have heavy-duty engine cooling and a heavy-duty alternator.
• The vehicle must have four-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS.
• The vehicle must have a skid plate package for off-road use and transfer case protection.
• The vehicle must have stabilizer bars and heavy-duty suspension.
The State of Maine reserves the right to negotiate the purchase of additional units at the bid price for six months after the award is officially made.
