Description
The City of Alexandria’s Wastewater Department is seeking vendors to supply “turn‑key” chlorination and dechlorination equipment on an as‑needed basis. The scope includes vacuum regulators, gas detectors, gas‑feed wall panels with vacuum switches, water‑quality monitors/residual analyzers, measure cells, and associated accessories. All equipment must meet detailed technical specifications, be new, current‑model year, and be delivered F.O.B. freight‑pre‑paid to the Wastewater Department. The contract is initially for 12 months with a possible 12‑month renewal, and prices must remain firm for at least a year.
• Supply of complete units (vacuum regulator, gas detectors, wall panels, monitors, measure cells) meeting ISO‑9001, NEMA 4X/IP65 standards.
• Delivery to 1212 Hudson Blvd, Alexandria, LA 71302, freight prepaid, with manuals (CD acceptable) and a minimum one‑year warranty.
• No guaranteed quantities; the City will order equipment “as‑needed” and may award by individual item or total bid.
• Bid submission deadline June 30, 2026 10:00 AM CDT; questions due June 18, 2026 4:00 PM CDT; payment net‑30 after acceptance.
