Description
Texas Southern University is soliciting sealed bids from qualified general contractors for the complete renovation of designated campus restrooms located within the Martin Luther King Building, Paige Building, and School of Public Affairs. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, permits, insurance, testing, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the construction documents and specifications. The project includes demolition, architectural renovations, ceramic tile, flooring, drywall, painting, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, plumbing fixtures, domestic water modifications, sanitary piping, HVAC modifications, electrical demolition, LED lighting, power modifications, accessibility upgrades, firestopping, and final cleaning.
• The contractor must be licensed to perform work in Texas.
• The contractor must demonstrate experience with occupied building renovations.
• The contractor must maintain all required insurance and bonding.
• The contractor must submit a detailed project schedule outlining all phases of the work.
• The contractor must provide separate pricing for alternate bids.
