2026 Surface Seal

The City of Cheyenne is seeking bids for the 2026 Surface Seal project, which involves pavement preservation improvements through localized asphalt patching and application of a Type II emulsified asphalt slurry seal treatment. The work includes traffic control, flagging operations, and surface preparation necessary to extend the service life of existing roadways. Additional improvements include installation of thermoplastic pavement markings, crosswalk bars, stop bars, and school zone symbols to restore traffic control devices and enhance roadway safety following completion of the slurry seal operations. • The project requires bidders to submit a bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid amount. • The bid must be submitted electronically through the City's eProcurement Portal. • A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 24, 2026, at 9:00 am via Zoom. • The project is expected to start on August 17, 2026, and be completed by October 31, 2026. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities or irregularities in any proposal.
