NNCC Gym Floor Refurbishment

The Nevada Department of Corrections is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to refinish approximately 8,000 sq ft of gym flooring consisting of wood plank located in the athletics building at Northern Nevada Correctional Center. The project includes inspecting the entire gym floor, cleaning and removing debris, repairing cracks, replacing damaged floorboards, sanding and refinishing the floor, and replacing existing gym lines and basketball court markings. The vendor must have a current C16a Finishing Floors license as issued by the State of Nevada Contractor’s Board at the time of proposal submission. • The project requires the vendor to provide a materials list prior to entering the facility and a reconciled tool inventory prior to entering and exiting the facility each day. • The vendor must ensure all tools, equipment, debris, and excess materials are removed from the institution at the completion of the project. • The vendor must comply with all Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations. • The vendor must maintain insurance coverages as set forth in the fully executed contract. • The vendor must provide a background, history, and why they are qualified to provide the services described in this solicitation.
