The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to secure the services of a contractor who can provide concrete delivery, repair, and finishing services for Planning and Public Works to various work locations throughout Pierce County. The work will be assigned by Pierce County by Purchase Order Number, and the initial anticipated contract value is $900,000.00. The contract period will be one year, with the option to renew for an additional year. Key points to consider: • The contractor will be required to provide full-service concrete delivery, repair, and finishing services on an as-needed basis. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. • The contractor must comply with prevailing wage rates set forth by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. • The contractor must provide a 5% bid bond and a 100% payment and performance bond. • The contractor must have the necessary insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and employer's liability.
