Description
The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the work necessary to supply and install ceramic tile in the women’s bathroom located at St. Croix State Park, All Seasons Trail Center. The scope of work includes labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. The contractor will be responsible for minor floor and wall preparation and water proofing prior to tile installation. The project specifications include the installation of wall tile, floor tile, grout, thinset, crack isolation, waterproofing materials, metal cap, and wall trim.
• The floor and walls will be ready for the contractor, and contractor will only need to do minor floor and wall preparation and water proofing prior to tile installation.
• Supply and install ceramic tile in the women’s bathroom:
o WALL TILE: Dal-Tile Florentine, 12" x 24" Tile in color Carrara, Product Code FL061224WX1P2 or approved equivalent - 600 Square Feet
o FLOOR TILE: Dal-Tile Marazzi - Carbon, 12" x 12" Chiseled, Matte, Product Code CV4312121P or approved equivalent - 235 Square Feet
o CT Floor Mosaic 1" x 1", Virginia Tile, American Olean - 1" x 1" Unglazed Mosaics, Confident Blend or approved equivalent – 72 Square Feet
• GROUT: 800 SF Net, Ultracolor PLUS FA Custom, Grout Color - Dove Gray #370 or approved equivalent
• Thinset: 800 SF Net, Mapei: Keraflex SG, White or approved equivalent
• Crack Isolation: 200 SF Net Mapei: Mapalastic CI, 3.5 Gallon Pails (1 pail) or approved equivalent
• Waterproofing Materials: 311 SF Net (259 SF Net Shower Walls + 52 SF Net Floor Mosaic), Mapei: Aquadefense, or approved equivalent, 3.5-gallon pail
• Metal Cap (and inside and outside corners - to match what we have in the men’s bathroom)
o 14 pieces, 101 LF net/ 112 LF total, Rondec AE, Schluter Systems
o 16 inside corners, Rondec AE, Schluter Systems
o 8 outside corners, Rondec AE, Schulter Systems
o Dilex AHK AE, or approved equivalent, 16 pieces, 104 LF Net/ 128 LF Total

o Dilex AHK AE, or approved equivalent, Outside corners, 8 outside corners, Schluter Systems
• Wall Trim: 9 pieces, 48 LF Net/72 LF total, Reno U AE or approved equivalent, Schluter Systems
• Transition CT: 1 piece, 3LF net/8 LF total
Park Staff will also take care of moisture mitigation and testing, and post-installation floor protection.
