NOAA NWS Hydrogen System Maintenance

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking to award a sole source contract for the maintenance of hydrogen systems. The scope of the contract includes annual preventative maintenance, calibration, testing, and certification of equipment. The work will be performed on seven HISS and three Hydrogen Electrolyzers. The contract will be awarded to FP2Fire, Inc., as they are the only vendor capable of fulfilling the requirement successfully. • The contract includes visual inspection of all system components, leak testing, pressure testing, temperature checking, filter and cartridge replacements, and certification of safety procedures. • The contractor will also perform annual troubleshooting and warranty service. • The contract is necessary for the National Weather Service to issue timely forecasts, watches, warnings, and advisories that are necessary for the protection of life and property.
