Posted 01/29/2026 209022 RFQ for Design Build for MHSC BB Wing Elev. & Transformers Replace UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON MHSC BB Wing Elev & Transformers Replace Project No. 209022 Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Design-Build Services General: The University of Washington (University or UW) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified design-build teams (which may include joint ventures) to design and construct the UWMC ML Kitchen Cafeteria Expansion Renovation project. Project Description: Modernization of the existing Magnuson Health Sciences Center (MHSC) BB Wing elevators (52, 53, 54, 55) and replacement of two oil filled medium voltage switches transformers and switches. Mechanical rooms are located on the 17th and 18th floors of building with limited access. Building access for materials and equipment to complete this work requires innovative solutions to ensure safe, efficient, and quality installation. Obtaining the RFQ: A copy of the RFQ with additional information about the project and the selection process will be available on January 30, 2026 via Workday Strategic Sourcing at https://university-of-washington.public-portal.us.workdayspend.com/.
