Advanced Concept Ejection Seat (ACES) II Harness Release Cartridge and Drogue Gun Cartridge

The US Air Force is seeking proposals for the Advanced Concept Ejection Seat (ACES) II Harness Release Cartridge, Drogue Gun Cartridge, and Gyro Spin-up Gas Generator. The cartridges are used in the ejection seat system to assist with the release of aircrew members' restraint systems during ejection events. The cartridges are made up of explosive material and are electrically initiated. The US Air Force is looking for a contractor to provide these cartridges and other related components. • The cartridges must be compatible with energetic materials when in contact or exposed to the energetic material. • The cartridges must be able to withstand the stresses of the ejection event. • The contractor must be able to provide the cartridges and other related components in the required quantities and within the specified timeframe. • The contractor must be able to meet the technical requirements specified in the solicitation. • The contractor must be able to provide the necessary documentation and testing to ensure the cartridges meet the requirements.
