I-280/Wolfe Road Interchange Improvement

The I-280/Wolfe Road Interchange Improvement Project involves the construction of improvements along Wolfe Road from Perimeter Road to Pruneridge Avenue. The project includes the removal and replacement of the Wolfe Road Overcrossing structure, realignment and widening of the existing diagonal on-ramps, and the installation of new traffic signals at each ramp intersection with Wolfe Road. The project also includes the construction of northbound and southbound Class IV bicycle facilities and pedestrian sidewalks alongside Wolfe Road. • The project requires the removal and replacement of the Wolfe Road Overcrossing structure, including three through lanes and a right-turn lane in each direction. • The project involves the realignment and widening of the existing diagonal on-ramps to accommodate High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) preferential lanes and additional mixed-flow lanes. • The project includes the installation of new traffic signals at each ramp intersection with Wolfe Road. • The project requires the construction of northbound and southbound Class IV bicycle facilities and pedestrian sidewalks alongside Wolfe Road. • The project involves the removal and replacement of soundwalls where affected by other widening.
