Description
The State of Illinois is seeking bids for asphalt improvements on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) between Mile Post 23.0 (Flagg Creek) and Mile Post 29.5 (Cermak Road) in Cook County, Illinois. The work under this contract includes mainline and shoulder surface removal and overlay, ramp and ramp shoulder surface removal and overlay, ramp pavement patching, bike trail and oasis access road repairs, pavement markings, maintenance of traffic, and other miscellaneous work.
• The bid opening date is scheduled for March 20, 2026, at 10:30:00 AM.
• An optional pre-bid meeting will be held through Microsoft Teams on February 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
• The contract requires the submission of various documents, including a bid bond, vendor disclosure, and DBE utilization plan.
• The project has a BEP/VBP participation goal, with a BEP goal percentage of 24.00% and a VBP goal percentage of 1.50%.
