The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a contractor to open, inspect, and report on a Core Assembly, Fluid Heater, Industrial. The contractor will be required to perform a preliminary inspection to determine the extent of required repairs, and then refurbish/recondition the Core Assembly to its original design and technical specifications. The contractor must provide a Condition Report and Cost Proposal, which includes new parts required, labor rate, labor hours, and total estimate for all required services. The contractor must also perform a pressure test and other standard production tests to assure maximum design performance. The key requirements of the job include: • Performing a preliminary inspection to determine the extent of required repairs • Refurbishing/reconditioning the Core Assembly to its original design and technical specifications • Providing a Condition Report and Cost Proposal • Performing a pressure test and other standard production tests • Preserving and packaging the Core Assembly to prevent deterioration during extended periods of storage • Providing a warranty for up to 2 years after delivery
