Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support is seeking to award a contract for the procurement of Oxygen Mask Light replacement items. The contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a two-year base period and three one-year options for a total of five years, if exercised. The Government plans to award a Fixed Price, Long Term Contract. The items being procured are various parts related to the Gentex Oxygen Masks, including Mask Light Assembly, External Assembly, Mask Light, and Internal Assembly, Mask Light.
• The contract will be unrestricted, utilizing other than full and open competition.
• The Government's need for these items can only be satisfied by Gentex Corporation, the original manufacturer of the items.
• The items being procured are proprietary to Gentex Corporation, and adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available.
• The solicitation will contain DLAD Procurement Note M06, Evaluation of Offers for Part Numbered Items and L04, Offers for Part Numbered Items to encourage the submission of offers for alternate products.
