Description
The Town of Lexington is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional auditing services for a period of three years, with potential renewals for two subsequent years. The selected firm will be required to perform an audit of the Town's financial statements in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America and Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States. The scope of work includes auditing the Town's governmental activities, business-type activities, major funds, and related notes to the financial statements. The firm will also be required to provide a single audit report if necessary. The proposal should include a technical section that demonstrates the firm's qualifications, experience, and approach to the audit, as well as a cost section that includes all pricing information related to the audit engagement.
