Description
The City of New York is seeking a Strategic Vehicle Parts Partner to provide a just-in-time automotive parts room operation service, including warehouse storage and distribution. The partner will be responsible for supplying all parts or any percentage of parts to the City, as required. The partner must be capable of offering replacement parts for all vehicles of make and model identified by each City agency and any additional models the City may procure. The partner will also be required to provide aftermarket parts with specifications equal to or exceeding Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts.
Some key points to consider:
• The partner must have experience in managing similar projects with a scope and number of years of related experience.
• The partner must have an organizational support structure that can respond 24/7 to contractor-managed parts rooms.
• The partner must be able to integrate their system with the City's Fleet Management System, NYC Fleet Focus by Assetworks.
• The partner must be able to provide daily reporting based on the integrated systems.
• The partner must have established relationships with both OEM and after-market part manufacturers and dealers.
