Description
The City of Douglas is seeking bids for the resurfacing and striping of various road surfaces. The project involves furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to rehabilitate, resurface, and stripe 4.3 miles of new and existing asphalt road surface. The work must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the date of notice to proceed. The estimated budget for this project is $1,300,000.00.
• The project requires the lowest responsible bidder to provide a certified check or Bid Bond made payable to the City of Douglas in the amount of at least five percent of the lump sum bid.
• Separate contract Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds equal to one hundred percent of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder prior to execution of contracts.
• Copies of the Bid Forms, Specifications, and Contract Documents may be obtained from Lancore Engineering, P.C. for $250.00 per hard copy set and $150.00 per digital set (PDF format).
