LOCKHEED MARTIN - Synopsis

The US Navy is seeking to award a contract on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Corporation for the provision of engineering services to support multiple ship classes, including the Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer, the Lockheed Martin produced variant of the Littoral Combat Ship, and the America Class Amphibious Assault ship. The primary focus of this contract is to support the control systems onboard these ships, including the Machinery Control System (MCS) and Engine Controllers (EC). • The contract will involve supporting the DDG-51 Machinery Control System (MCS) and Engine Controllers (EC) • The contract will also involve supporting the Freedom variant Machinery Plant Control and Monitoring System (MPCMS) • The contract will involve supporting the LHA-8AF MCS and EC • The contract is for the provision of engineering services
