Description
The Northwestern State University is seeking bids for the replacement of the roof at their Leesville campus. The project includes the removal of existing shingles, underlayment, and roof penetrations, and the installation of new architectural shingles, ridge vent, and flashing. The contractor will also be responsible for protecting existing conditions and repairing any damage caused during demolition and construction.
• The project requires the removal of existing 24-gauge pre-finished coping and sidewall flashing, as well as the installation of new coping and flashing.
• The contractor must install new CertainTeed Landmark architectural shingles, or an approved equal, and ensure that the color matches the existing shingles.
• The project includes the installation of a continuous, concealed Lomanco Omni-Ridge vent and the replacement of all pipe penetrations.
• The contractor must also install new rain diverters over doors at the outer eave roof and ensure that all work is done in accordance with local building codes and regulations.
