Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to perform complete parking‑lot resurfacing and related improvements at Gwinnett County Fire Station #24. The work includes full‑depth asphalt removal, milling, new asphalt placement, crack filling, seal‑coating, striping, signage installation, demolition and disposal of existing materials, and site protection/cleanup. The contractor must coordinate with fire department staff to maintain emergency vehicle access, adhere to a noise‑restriction schedule, and complete the project by the target date of August 1 2026.
• Full‑depth asphalt removal, milling, and overlay (≈11,400 sf)
• Crack filling, seal‑coating, and two‑ to three‑coat surface protection
• New parking‑lot striping, MUTCD‑approved signs, “No Parking” stencils, and finish‑line markings
• Site protection, erosion control, demolition of existing pavement, and final clean‑up
• Coordination with fire station for uninterrupted emergency access and compliance with noise‑ordinance (no work before 7 AM)
• Requirement to submit a lump‑sum price, non‑collusion affidavit, references, subcontractor list, E‑Verify compliance, and insurance certificates (A.M. Best A‑7 or better)
