Description
The Carroll County Government is seeking bids for the leasing of six agricultural properties in Carroll County, Maryland. The properties range in size from 2.5 to 140 acres and are available for lease for agricultural operations. Only active Carroll County farmers will be considered for this bid. The successful bidder will be required to sign a lease agreement with the County. The bid must include a price per acre, and the County will multiply the cost times the number of acres for the total cost of the property.
• The properties available for lease are:
• Bollinger/Sessa Property - 70+/- acres
• Rockland Road Property - 2.5+/- acres
• Glass Farm Property - 34+/- acres
• Route 194 Property - 68+/- acres
• Taneytown Bypass Property - 20+/- acres
• Harrison/Leisher Property - 140+/- acres
• The lease agreement will be for a term of one year, with the option to renew on an annual basis.
• The successful bidder will be required to obtain general liability insurance and professional malpractice insurance.
• The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract in its entirety or in part.
