Springtree WTP Sodium Hypochlorite Pedestal Structural Repairs

The City of Sunrise is seeking bids for the Springtree WTP Sodium Hypochlorite Pedestal Structural Repairs project. The scope of work includes applying a chemical-resistive coating system to concrete pedestals and supports, painting surfaces, removing and reinstalling steel canopy structure components, and inspecting and testing Sodium Hypochlorite tanks. The successful bidder will be required to perform all work in strict accordance with the contract documents. Key aspects of the project include: • Application of a chemical-resistive coating system to all concrete pedestals and supports • Painting of all surfaces that do not receive a chemical-resistive coating in the project area • Removal and reinstallation of any or all components of the steel canopy structure as needed • Removal of and reinstallation of all Sodium Hypochlorite tanks • Inspection and testing of each tank after removal • Cleaning and painting of all components of the steel canopy structure The project requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting on July 1, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the Springtree Water Treatment Plant.
