Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) intends to perform construction at the Tucson CMOP, located at 3675 E. Britannia Dr., Tucson, Arizona, 85706. The construction includes demolition of existing conditions, concrete, metals, framing, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, electronic safety and security, earthwork, utilities, and vehicle barriers. The contractor shall be responsible for all aspects of the project and each phase shall be subject to VA approval at designated project milestones.
• The project requires a prime contractor with relevant construction experience, a project execution plan, technical qualifications and experience of proposed staffing, past performance, and a prime contractor safety plan.
• The contractor must provide a price proposal, including a breakdown of material and labor costs, and must have a current Experience Modification Rate (EMR) equal to or less than 1.0.
• The contractor must also provide information on their past safety and environmental record, and must have no more than three serious, or one repeat or one willful OSHA or EPA violation(s) in the past three years.
