Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential qualified sources capable of providing Brand Name Only Kunkle Safety Relief Valves for the Altoona VA Medical Center. The valves are required for boiler safety relief valve replacement, and the project involves delivering 4-Kunkle 300LLJ01-AS0115 and 4-Kunkle 300LKH01-AS0110 safety relief valves. The valves must meet specific salient characteristics, including being constructed of cast steel with exposed steel spring valves that meet ASME section I ‘V’ for steam.
* The valves must be set at 115# and 110# respectively.
* The valves must have a 2.5” and 2” flanged inlet rated at 300# and a 4” and 3” flanged outlet rated at 150#.
* The valves must have a relief capacity of 17,177#/hr and 10,644#/hr respectively.
* All items must be FOB Destination, delivered to the Altoona VA Medical Center.
