Description
The Township of Parsippany‑Troy Hills is seeking a qualified law firm to serve as its Township Attorney for a one‑year period, providing full‑service general‑counsel support to municipal officials. The firm must be licensed in New Jersey and demonstrate substantial experience representing municipalities, handling legal research, drafting ordinances, contracts, and providing counsel at meetings. Compensation is based on an hourly rate of $175 plus reimbursable expenses, with no block‑billing allowed.
• Provide legal advice, research, and opinions on any municipal matter.
• Draft, review, and advise on ordinances, resolutions, contracts, deeds, and collective‑bargaining agreements.
• Attend Mayor, Council, and Committee meetings as directed; supervise special counsel as needed.
• Deliver two recent work‑product samples and references from at least three municipal clients within the past three years.
• Submit a sealed RFQ response by November 13, 2025, 10:00 a.m., following the specified envelope labeling and documentation requirements.
