Description
The Department of General Services is seeking bids from Master Contractors to repair or replace bricks in the sidewalk at the Goldstein Treasury Building. The project has a classification of "B" with an estimated cost between $100,000 and $500,000. The work must be completed within 180 calendar days, and the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $350 per day if the project is not completed on time. The bid must include labor, materials, overhead, profit, and insurance. A pre-bid conference was held on February 24, 2026, and questions must be submitted by March 3, 2026. The bid deadline is March 18, 2026.
• The project is limited to Small Business Reserve Procurement, and only certified small business vendors are eligible to submit bids.
• The MBE subcontracting participation goal is 10% of the total contract value.
• The VSBE subcontracting participation goal is 0%.
• The contractor must submit a Bid Bond, MBE Attachment D-1A, and Payment of Employee Health Care Expenses Certification with the bid.
• The contract will be in the form of Attachment K, and all DGS contracts must have a company seal or notary on the signature page.
