VALVE ASSEMBLY,MANI

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking a contractor to supply a valve assembly, specifically the MANI valve. The solicitation is for a new spares requirement, and no drawings are available for this solicitation. The contractor will be required to develop a system for identification of individual piece parts for traceability purposes, and markings shall not be permanent. The contractor must also perform Quality Conformance and Lot Sampling Inspection for all associated features that are present in the drawings and specifications. The components being acquired under this solicitation have been classified as "Critical" and require engineering source approval by the Naval Air Systems Command. • The contractor shall conduct First Article testing on this item and must address all elements listed in the contract. • The contractor shall provide facilities and personnel sufficient to conduct all necessary tests to establish conformance. • The contractor shall have available for review all certifications, test reports, in-process inspection documents needed to substantiate product quality. • The contractor shall notify the PCO, ACO, and QAR fourteen days prior to conducting the First Article test. • The contractor shall be responsible for providing the necessary parts and repair of the First Article Sample(s) during inspection.
