The Madison County Engineer’s Office is seeking a qualified design‑build team to replace the existing prestressed‑concrete box‑beam bridge on Spring Valley Road over a Deer Creek tributary. The scope includes demolition of the existing bridge, installation of new pile‑cap abutments placed behind the existing structures, a new single‑span prestressed concrete box‑beam superstructure, full roadway reconstruction, guardrail replacement, traffic‑control devices, and all required permitting, utility coordination, and as‑built documentation. The project must be completed by June 30 2027, with a hard deadline and liquidated‑damage provisions. The contract is a lump‑sum design‑build award, requiring ODOT pre‑qualification, prevailing‑wage compliance, performance and payment bonds, and adherence to extensive ODOT specifications.
