Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) of AN/SSQ-101B sonobuoys

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking information from potential contractors for the Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) of AN/SSQ-101B sonobuoys. The sonobuoys must meet specific performance requirements, including reliability, service conditions, electrical, mechanical, acoustic, safety, environmental, product assurance, packaging, marking, and operating requirements. Interested contractors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) and a valid DD Form 2345. They must also demonstrate their ability to meet the Key Performance Parameters for the AN/SSQ-101B production sonobuoy. Key points to consider: • The contract will be Firm Fixed-Price. • Non-recurring engineering funds will not be available. • Final sonobuoy assembly must be in the United States. • Contractors must have achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2. • The contracted effort will require a Security Clearance classification of SECRET. • Businesses should be compliant with Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level III.
