The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a contractor to supply a modulating valve. The solicitation is being issued under EAF authority, and the synopsis is waived due to urgency. The contractor must provide newly manufactured spares only, and refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material will not be acceptable. The contractor must also provide a copy of their authorized distributor letter, if applicable. The key requirements of the job include: • Supplying a modulating valve • Providing newly manufactured spares only • Submitting a copy of their authorized distributor letter, if applicable • Complying with the terms and conditions of the solicitation The scope of work includes delivering the modulating valve to a domestic U.S. freight forwarder, who will then ship the asset to the country of record. The FMS customer countries retain ownership of their parts throughout the asset's lifecycle.
