Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive teleradiology staffing services for eight VA medical facilities (seven currently active, two future). The contractor must deliver STAT (emergency) and routine imaging interpretations across a broad range of modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, CR/DX, Nuclear Medicine, PET‑CT, etc.) during overnight, weekend, and federal holiday coverage windows, meeting stringent turnaround‑time standards and quality‑assurance metrics. The effort is a 5‑year base period contract (Dec 31 2026 – Dec 30 2031) with up to four optional one‑year extensions, set‑aside for Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBC). Key requirements include board‑certified U.S. radiologists, full VA system integration (PACS, HL7, VPN), 99 % system uptime, and extensive reporting (monthly performance, quarterly peer review, annual quality summary).
• Provide 24/7 teleradiology coverage for STAT studies at 8 VA facilities, including overnight, weekend, and federal holiday periods.
• Interpret a wide array of imaging modalities (CT, CTA, MR/MRA, US, nuclear medicine, PET‑CT, mammography, etc.) with defined TAT (45‑60 min for STAT, 24‑48 h for routine).
• Meet performance targets: ≥ 90 % STAT TAT compliance, ≥ 99 % system availability, and reduce STAT late‑report rates to ≤ 10 % within 12 months.
• Deliver secure, VA‑compliant technical integration (DICOM, HL7, VPN/BPG) and extensive monthly/quarterly reporting.
