Description

The Colorado Attorney General’s Office is seeking a qualified vendor to design and produce a comprehensive, asynchronous virtual training curriculum to support the statewide implementation of the Domestic Violence Lethality Assessment Protocol (DVLAP). The curriculum will consist of three core courses: a foundational course for law enforcement personnel, a technical course for law enforcement personnel, and a course for domestic violence advocates and community partners. The vendor will be required to develop supplementary implementation resources and ensure that the curriculum is modular, asynchronous, and designed according to adult learning principles. The goal of this project is to establish a standardized, research-informed training infrastructure that promotes consistent, high-fidelity implementation of DVLAP across Colorado. Key aspects of the project include: • Developing a comprehensive, asynchronous virtual training curriculum • Creating three core courses for law enforcement personnel and domestic violence advocates • Ensuring the curriculum is modular, asynchronous, and designed according to adult learning principles • Developing supplementary implementation resources • Collaborating with subject matter experts to translate technical or research-based content into engaging, accessible virtual training materials

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

The budget for this project can be estimated based on the scope and complexity of the work. Developing a comprehensive, asynchronous virtual training curriculum with three core courses and supplementary implementation resources may require significant resources and expertise. Assuming the vendor will need to dedicate a team of instructional designers, subject matter experts, and developers to the project, the total cost could range from $200,000 to $500,000. This estimate takes into account the need for high-quality video production, scenario-based instruction, and professional-grade multimedia elements. Additionally, the vendor may need to consider costs associated with project management, quality assurance, and testing.
