Description
The Department of the Air Force is seeking a contractor to repair the Rugged MPEG Video Encoder, NSN 5836-01-605-8162. The contractor will be responsible for inspecting and testing the item, and if necessary, restoring it to serviceable condition. The contractor will also be required to provide a unique item identifier for the delivered items. The contract will be for a firm fixed price, and the contractor will be required to submit a detailed repair quote for approval by the Procurement Contracting Officer.
• The contractor will perform visual, mechanical, and electrical testing of the end item.
• The contractor will identify all components requiring repair or replacement and report this information to the Procurement Contracting Officer.
• The contractor will perform the repair or replacement of all failed parts and components.
• The contractor will clean, configure, refinish, and test the end item to meet the original specifications.
• The contractor will return the end item in serviceable like-new condition.
